Despite our hectic summer, I whipped this up in no time for the Dierks Bentley concert last night. I’m OBSESSED with the dropped hemline and waistline, and the added back tie is 💋!⁣

I accidentally made mine a little big so this dress will be much more flattering when I make it again with a form-fitting waist. No reason to fix this since it’s super comfy! Also, the length is perfect for us shorties. I didn’t have to cut anything off before hemming. 👌🏼⁣⁣

It is SO PRETTY and was the most fun package to open bc Liberty also included so many other special gifts for me. 🥰 This is my second time sewing with Liberty’s silk, and I love it bc it also washes well in the washer on gentle cycle. 🤫⁣⁣

Green sequins and flowers for V-Day bc red felt too predictable. ⁣

This top started out as a high-low tiered floral dress that I beautifully drafted and accidentally made too small just before installing the zipper. 😭 (Sewing at midnight isn’t always smart.) So I dug out some green sequins and salvaged pieces of the floral fabric to create this top. Sad that my dress didn’t make it, but I love this top! ⁣

Not sure how, but I threw on some heels for a double date on December 26th and could suddenly barely walk. 🧐 Pain/swelling got significantly worse and has been waking me up at night so I finally went to the doctor this week.
